01. Align the two colors
Fold and hold the blue and white cords together. Keep the two colors separate below your fingers so you can follow each working strand.

02. Curve blue around the white loop
Keep the white loop open. Curve the blue working strand around it as shown, leaving a blue opening below the white loop.

03. Complete the open crossing
The two colors form an open interlocked crossing. Match the white strand and blue opening to the video at 16–29 seconds before tightening.

04. Seat the first unit
Pull the blue and white strands outward a little at a time until the small unit sits together. Avoid closing only one side of the crossing.

05. Open the next working loop
Hold the first unit below your thumb and form the next upright loop above it. Follow the changing blue and white roles shown in the repeat.

06. Continue the repeat
Add the next small unit close to the previous one. Replay 98–141 seconds to follow the working-strand order; a still does not show all the entries.

07. Compare the growing band
Stretch the short band gently between your fingers. Check that neighboring units meet without large gaps and that both colors remain visible.

08. Inspect the finished band
Compare the finished blue-and-white band with the demonstration. Even out any loose unit before using it as a decorative length.
Before you move on
- The result is a repeated band, rather than a circular floral medallion.
- Both colors remain visible along the length.
- The small units are close together with consistent tension.
