Double Connection Knot
Make two linked wraps on the two hanging ends, then draw them into one compact joining knot. The video also adjusts the remaining upper loop.

01. Separate the two ends
Hold the fold at the top. Let the two ends hang separately beneath your fingers.

02. Keep the first wrap open
Curve one end around the other hanging cord and return it through its own opening. Leave this wrap loose.

03. Curve the second end
Make a second loop with the remaining end beneath the first wrap. Keep both openings visible.

04. Link the two wraps
Feed the second end through the open crossing shown in the video. Draw it clear while pinching the first wrap.

05. Check the loose join
Spread the linked wraps slightly. Check their arrangement before pulling them together.

06. Reduce the slack
Pull the hanging ends and ease the upper loop in small amounts until the linked wraps meet.

07. Set the compact knot
Hold the tightened knot between your fingers and pull the cord gently on both sides to settle it.
Before you move on
- The two wraps close together instead of remaining as separate loose loops.
- The final knot is compact, with cord leaving on opposite sides.
