Study how prepared Pipa knots and a loose two-return Pan Chang centre become a flower-like combination. This short demonstration explains the arrangement and shows its adjustment and finished form; make the component knots in the practice lessons first. Some closing and decorative edging work is shown only in the finished example.
What you will need
- A loosely pinned two-return Pan Chang centre with its outer folds and free ends available.
- Prepared Pipa units, left loose enough to adjust; six are shown beside the centre.
- A gridded pin board, pins and a pointed cord-picking tool.
- Knotting cord for completing the Pipa pair on the free ends.
Record what works for your cord
Write down its type, diameter and starting length, then the size after tightening. The printed result helps you compare the outline; it does not set the physical scale or show the hidden route. Follow the demonstration for threading and gradual tightening.
The editable SVG is a silhouette extracted from the filmed finished piece. Use it for a greeting or color plan, and compare the real photograph whenever you need the exact cord detail.
