Tie a button knot beneath a hanging loop, then use your fingers to hold the open crossings for a small woven knot. The demonstration continues through tightening the centre and balancing the side loops.
What you will need
- One cord a little over 1 metre long; the source specifies Chinese cord size No. 4.
- A clear flat surface for laying out the completed knot.
Record what works for your cord
Write down its type, diameter and starting length, then the size after tightening. The printed result helps you compare the outline; it does not set the physical scale or show the hidden route. Follow the demonstration for threading and gradual tightening.
